Application
The grant
application process is very competitive and all applicants
should have the same chances of being considered for
funding. Therefore, no alterations are permitted to the
existing application format.
In order to
complete the application form, use the "Tab" key to move
from field to field.
Answers are
limited to space provided.
Once complete, please
print and carefully review your application before you
submit to the Trust office.
Be sure to include
the following items with your grant application:

IRS tax-exempt
status determination letter (even if previously
submitted).

List of Officers
and Board of Directors.

Last 3 years of
audits or financial statements if you are a 501 c 3
non-profit organization. Audits are required
for requests of $40,000 and over.

Approved
departmental budget for current year if you are a
governmental or public institution.

Appropriate,
original signatures. If you have questions as to
who should sign your application, please contact our
office as this is a critical component of the
process.

Grant applications
are due in the Trust office no later than end of
business Wednesday, October 15, 2008 or postmarked
October
15, 2008. We do encourage early submission and will
accept your application as early as you receive
notification of Letter of Interest approval.
Our office is located on the 2nd floor of
the Downtown Wachovia Building and our office hours are
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
